I have a 1987 Blazer with 44 inch ground hawg's, the works, well in the last 2 weeks i have blown the top one and the yoke, the first time so i went to the junkyard and got a new yoke but i needed a conversion ujoint 2 use it, ran it for a week then the top and bottom blew 2 day about a mile from my house. I need as much help as i can get, what is the best u-joint for the top and bottom that will stay in and i will not have 2 orry about, hopefully it is just bad u joints because i have been running the 44's for about 6 month now, the conversion u-joint number was (precision 447) if that help's any, any help appreciated

get a bigger driveshaft yoke. Stop using the half ton driveshaft. Bigger will be better

get the pinion angles correct and do something about the axle wrap
then call Jesse at HighAngle to have him build you some good shafts

I am runnin 12 inches consisting of lift with 6 inch springs and 5.5 inch block( untile i get 12 inch rear spring or shackle flip, what if I took my drive shaft to a machine shop and had the end off fo the 3/4 ton driveshaft welded onto my 1/2 ton so i could use the larger u-joints?

You could do that but you will still have severe angles on the driveline and thus, still have a problem. Take the truck to a drive line shop and have them check it out. With that much lift you may have to shell out some money to make things right. How long have you had this setup? How long before you started having problems?
