First off, I know nothing about ATVs - I'm a Jeeper. :p

However, my son has inherited a Honda TRX 125 from his great-uncle. Unfortunately I think it still has the original tires on it from 1985 and they're dry-rotting, cracked and half bald.

What's a decent, not-too-expensive tire to use on this thing? He does trail running which is dirt/mud - no rock at all around here.

Also, any tricks to get a bit more oomph from the engine?

LOL, I'm about to buy one of those too for my daughter but I think its an 86. Same deal with the tires too! I'd try Wal-Mart before the motorcycle shops. As for power, I don't know, but when I get mine and start messin' with it I'll let you know what I find.
