Im going to be building a cage soon for my 800. Was wondering if i tied my cage into my rock sliders then the sliders to the frame if that would be a stong connection? Should i angle the cage tie in to the frame where the slider meets the fame and weld the snot out of it there? any suggestions would be helpfull. thanks

I don't have the bushings, though.

I dont know if I would waste time trying tie the cage together with bushings. I would feel better about having the cage directly bolted together. I never have been a fan of a 90* tie in. Your just asking for it to sheer in a hard roll, but with the body sandwitched in between, you should be ok.

I used my sliders to reinforce my body. Built support for the C-pillars, and reinforced under the B-pillar, then tied the cage into all these. Still in progress. Documented with lots of lousy pics here (http://www.justih.org/Binder-Bench/showthread.php?t=5123).
