I'm looking at picking up an 88 sami with a blown motor(Threw a rod) :barf: . I'm completely new to the suzuki world. Where can I pickup a sami motor around Las Vegas? I got a toyota longblock back in san jose that was from japan for $500. Is there something similar? I'd rebuild it but there's a nice hole in the block. Thanks for any advice. Plus, what should I look for when shopping for a sami. I'd search but it's down. Thanks!

Look for a sidekick with a 16v motor. If your gonna be replacing the motor, might as well upgrade.
