I'm running out of time before this JV trip next weekend and GearMan (my first choice) says he may be booked up and doesn't sound like he wants to commit to any more work right now. :(

Does West Coast Diffs do good/fast work? Or anyone else?

I've already bought the parts from Gearman (gears, ARB) a month or two ago, I just need it set up.

I would set these up myself which was my original plan (only because I'm cheap), but this Tacoma/Tundra 3rd going in my 4runner doesn't have an install "kit" available yet, so I'd have to fawk w/ buying a shitload of expensive shims from the dealer and hoping I could return the ones I didn't use... and mostly I don't have the time to mess w/ that right now. :(

GearMan may still do it, but he sounds pretty reluctant at the moment... so I'm looking for other options just in case.

Tried searching for info on WCD, but so far all I see is "good prices on parts" but nothing about their workmanship or service...

I have all my gear work done at WCD...but that's cause I know everyone there. They do great work too though...Call Jimmy (Service Mgr) and see what he can do for you.

I had one diff set-up by them. I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. They didn't route the air-line the best but I just bent it a little and it went right in.

I had my front diff set up by Foothill off-road in Auburn. Maybe try them if WCD can't do it.

Yeah, I know Gearman is the MAN and like I said he's my first choice and I'd prefer to give him my business, but if he can't, he can't. :(

But hopefully he can. ;)

Jimmy @ WCD said they'd to it for $260 :eek: and they could have it done by Fri. afternoon, so that's a possibility (seems kinda pricey tho!), but I'll check out some of those others too if I have to. Thanks.

If Gearman cant do it for you, why dont you ask him who he suggests. The best oughta be able to tell ya who 2nd best is ?
