Should I buy it? It's prestine and has low hours. Never raced. Just want your guys's impressions of this beast. $2k he wants for it. Thanks.

Those are very hard to start... and the kick started is on the "wrong" side.

hehehe... you're fairly right there. I bought it already. I just wanted some opinions before you guys knew that as to not be saving my feelings... :D

This is my thrid one. I owned two 93 WXC350's about 5 years ago. I desert raced the one I did a 480 kit on. 480 bore, titanium con rod pin, port polished, open exhaust, oversized headers and had the Del Otro punched. That thing was a bad ass. Weelied up sand dunes CR500's struggled up. Never had a major problem with it and I BEAT that thing.

Ever since Cagiva took over in early 90's, I've loved the Husky's. Great quality. Excellent power, reliability and THE smoothest gearbox on the planet. I know parts are a bit more and harder to get, but we have a good Cagiva/Ducati dealer here in sac.

I get it tomorow. I'll post pics tomorow night. Stoked!!!

Oh, and I got it for $1800.00. hehehehe... :flipoff2:

Oh, and on the hard starting thing... Yes they can be a bitch. Like most pre 2000 4 strokes unless it's an XR. There is a trick however, if we're ever riding, I'll show it to ya. :D

One good thing to remember on a Husky thumper... if you're gunna stop, stop at the TOP of the hill... not the bottom... hehehe
