I have a 12 bolt rear end. I was wondering If I can get a full spool and gears lower than 4.56's(lowest I've seen) for it. Is there any differance between the 12 bolt truck and 12 bolt car?

The Truck is different than the Pass. Car unit. The pinions are different dia. Jegs has listed to a 5.38 for the Truck. 6.14 for the Pass. Richmond Gear lists a Spool for either. Best bet would be to get a C-Clip eliminator kit, or convert to Ford or Olds bearings & ends to have positive axle retention in case of a break. Unless you are going to spend the $$$ for a full float kit.

you would be better off $$ wise to go with a D60 if you are going to go all out. They are millions out there I just talked the X wifes husband out of one, I picked up a 14 bolt, D60 and D44 all eight lug for $200.
