are XJ/TJ/WJ/ZJ front dana 30's all interchangable, or are they all a little different?

XJ's' used 260 u-joints till about 95, and were high pinion till around 98. TJs and ZJ's are low pinion. WJ's have the 5x5 bolt pattern. All XJ, TJ, and ZJ mounting brackets are the same. But it'd be easier to drop in a 44 with CTM's or a 60 and call it good, otherwise you are just polishing a turd.

Hey on the lighter side....

The last time I nuked a 297X joint (BRUTE FORCE) brand.
I took it yesterday to ADVANCE AUTO and they warrantied it with no questions.
Now here is the kicker........ When the joint let go in my DANA30.
It took the shaft with it... (BIG SUPRISE RIGHT!)

Ok so the Advance guy says to take him a receipt for the damaged shaft and they will submitt it to BRUTE FORCE for reimbursement...

:cool: is what I am thinking... But there has to be a catch right?

Well I will be taking the receipt for my replacement axle to them and they will submitt it for me. Then all I have to do is wait..... And wait...... and wait..... and wait.... Till BRUTE FORCE makes a decision wether or not they will pay for the shaft...

Lets hope they do..... This might just make having a 30 worth it. :D
