I'm looking for a new set of cheap yet durable u-joints for my truck and i have heard that the new u-joints that come in the jeep rubicons D44 are bigger then the old standard joints that come in D44 and 10bolts. how much stronger are these? are they worth my money? and how much do they cost for a pair?

Spicer 760x. About $20 a piece. They are worth it.

Yea, Napa and Spicer had a falling out a while back. There should be several local driveshaft/drivetrain shops around your area that stocks them. There is always ebay as well; http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dana-Spicer-Axle-U-joint-Dana-44-30-Ford-Dodge-Chevy_W0QQitemZ8022793654QQcategoryZ33728QQrdZ1QQc mdZViewItem - I am getting very lazy and like having stuff sent to my door :D

its the same size joint as any other open knuckle 44 or ten bolt, even the ~95+ dana 30s came with the 297/760 sized joint. its nothing special, even in the rubicons.
the only appreciable difference between the old 297 and the 760 is the 760 is cold forged and lubed for life.
