hey guys,

i'm trying to figure out if a stock D300 output yoke (26 spl) is directly swappable with a front output yoke from a 88 XJ (26 spl).

the xj yoke fits on the D300 output like 1/4 of an inch, then won't press on any further. i am not going to force it until i'm sure they are ment to be the same.

has anyone done this or have some insite?

Thats what my buddy did, I don't have first hand experience until I get my yoke back from him to put on mine, but it worked for him. IDK if he had the same problem you are having though.

Yeah I have run that on two YJ's now, give her some love with a BFH and block of wood.

Yup, should work. I have used NP231 front yokes on a D300 before and no problems.
