That adapter looks way nicer than the old ones, what does it go for? I'm starting to figure out what it's all going to cost me

I would loose the fairlead and the plate it mounts on. Switch to synth rope and let it ride on the tubing work up front. If the welding has been smoothed out with a little sanding it will work very well. That will shave off about 40 lbs right there.

I would also consider replacing the expanded metal with plexiglass to save a few more pounds.

yep still in Manteca. ya I got plans for the fair lead but not the plexiglass that shit only look good for a week or two. So how much does the jeep weigh damm it hard's to make this rigs light.

:flipoff2: what do you mean these temp shocks are great I pull tires triing to get out of the garage. I had to get it weighed for the race runner's this was the way to get it to the scale.

Very nicely done. With all that Marlin stuff in there, maybe that's why everyone is complaining about him not getting product out the door, he's been working on the stuff in this rig. :D

it was about 2600 pulling a military trailer, actually I don't remember exactly but less than 3000 with the trailer.

The jeep is all fiberglass - that helps

Did you use molytube??? I know you can save a lot of weight and spent alot of money that way. I'm guessing you could save about 100 pounds using plexi glass.

So who has the lightest rig out there, I made this thing as small as possible but still having two seats there's like no leg room but i'm only 5-3 so it does'nt really matter.
