I need to know if there were any floor changes that would keep me from using a 1975 or later tranny hump in a 1972 FJ40 body? Also if there is any differance in a pickup hump and 40 hump of similar years? :confused:

the tub changed a lot in 79 or about 1979 so get a 78 or older...a 72 might have differnt holes for shifters than an later version or they might be in different places..i dont know when the tcase became floor mounted instead of under the dash by the ebrake...so if you dont mind an extra hole then yes it'll bolt right up! :cool:

Thanks, I wasn't sure of the change date but I suspected a problem in the later ones as the beds are different!

afaik the 74 and later are different from the 73 and earlier.
