thanks, anyonw know off hand the spring rates of BDS 2" YJ springs, part number 004200? Someone told me they were like 299 Lbs or something rediculous like that...

For future search purposes... Here is a response from BDS...

Hugh:

The 004200 springs have a spring rate of 300 Lbs and are 4 leaf spring pack. I believe that your
spring rates are about 100 lbs low. A factory O.E. spring is aprx. 275 front, 260 rear.

Im assuming the heavier rate of 275 would be for a 5 leaf pack, and 260 for a 4 leaf pack... The BDS springs ive got are a 3 leaf pack, so I guess they should be at about the stock rate, I may add a small leaf though....

Are you guessing, on the stock YJ's? Run them on your Zuk and then run 175 lb coils on your Zuk and tell me I'm 100 lbs off. :flipoff2: BDS's are STIFF. :D

BDS guy told me those rates... I did actually measure the compression of stock YJ's compared to the BDS springs and they are very similar, with the BDS springs compressin 1/4" less than the stock YJ's with 250 LBS on each psring....
