I have an 87 4runner, I was thinking of a 2 1/2 inch exhaust and a flowmaster muffler, my guy at the shop said I dont need that for a 22re motor he said it is overkill, but I hear alot of guys talking about going that big. Any opinions?

My Dodge with it's 360 has 2.5" with 3" after the flowmaster and 4" tips. Also just my .02 but if you put that on there with that flowmaster it's gonna sound like a wet-fart/bumble-bee/fart-cannon/ricer. Just thought I'd give some input.

Dyno test have shown that for a toy 4cyl 2 1/4 works best
