Was talking with Foothill offroad about a rear application Warn Dana 60 FF kit. He said the full floater kit:

1. It is not worth the $$ it costs.
2. It constantly leaks due to the o-ring seal
3. Warn is planning on discontinuing the product

Anyone else heard this? Are these statements true?

Anyway, I called Warn and the sales rep said that he is not aware of Warn discontinuing the Dana 60 ff kit. He said even in the worse case scenario and they did discontinue the kit, they are still required to make parts for it for the next 5 years.

Anyone?

I wouldn't be at all surprised if they did discontinue it. It cost so much money that you would be better off just going to the junk yard and buying a full floater, putting your gears in it if they didnt' match, etc. I suspect that they dont' make much money off of it for that very reason.

that kit makes about as much sence as the Advanced Adapters kit to bolt anAMC th400 to a chevy engine.

Its the wrong way to do something.
