Well wife has made her mind up she wants a rig. But it has to be small and a buggy setup. So ive been looking at rig platforms to start off with. I know its not cheap to start with a tub chassis and adding everthing to it. Little things add up fast. So i want to start with a running, driveable chassy.
Well back to the idea.
I want a smaller rig setup this time. Look'n at a sidekick with the body pulled off and a cage rapped around it and a set of 404's or 411 mogs. With like 42's. Ill link it front and rear. But it needs to be a auto and the t-case has to have a passenger side drop driveshaft. To work with the mogs. Are the trans any good and is the t-case passenger side drop and very strong in them.
Or should i swop to another rig platform. The next idea is a ameigo 4x4. Remove the body and add a tub cage around it. I know the sidekick puts out alot of power and alot of them come with autos so this is a strong point im looking at.If the t-case has a drive drop i mite change it to a differnet t-case setup.
What do yall think about this set up.
