I think my damn fuel gauge doesn't work. Steps for correction? I get a 1/2 tank reading in the cab when I'm spilling gas from topping off... :confused:

The sending unit is the problem. Drop the gas tank and pull out the sending unit. You will notice where the arm contacts the unit. Usually all you have to do is bend the arm in to make contact and you're done.

I had the same problem. Its most likely the sending unit.
