Do any of you know how to put IFS in a Wrangler, I would love to put an IFS front end in my Jeep, maybe a Tacoma Axle assembly, I think the IFS will help with making the jeep more comfortable, and still capable off road.

I serioulsy doubt that anyone here will be able to give you any information on this...IFS (while it can be made very off road capeable) brings the suck when compared to a solid axle... Just get a quality Long arm kit for it...that will give you a better ride both on an off road...

I would not have posted this here. Crap like "comfy ride" is the reason why you can't get the straight axle in half-ton trucks anymore. ITS A FAWKIN JEEP! If you want a comfy ride, buy a car. I don't mean to be a dick, I just hate IFS, and the fact you want to put it in a Jeep made me :mad3: .

I was just seeing how people would react to my dumb ass question, I hate IFS, if I wanted it i wouldnt have bought a JEEP. I have been getting all kinds of shitty godamn answers from everyone on this site, you guys are a bunch of assholes, I got the same type of response from this dumbshit question as I have from a few good questions I have had. You people make me sick. I dont think I will be around here anymore, theres no use trying to out smart everyone all the time with you immense 4x4 knowlege. Some of you think your so great cause you have tons of money to dump into your rigs and other cars to get to and for work cause you jeep is stuck on a damn trailer. Just cause a guy doesnt have dana 60's and 44's you act like they are below you, I had a truck with a dana 80 rear, 60 front and 42's and I still like my fuckin Jeep. You people are fucking horrible, if I see any of you stuck out on the trail once my Jeep is up to your standards I wont hesitate to keep on driving. Im out, this site sucks.

Looks like another moron from jeepsunlimited or something. How did he come to his final conclusion. He wants to get a good ride by swapping in an IFS frontend out of a tacoma. Bruce T suggested to buy a Tacoma. Did I miss something here or was this just like getting clubbed upside the head. Where was the swap in a dana 60 and some 44's come into play. :smokin:

Who here is soo rich they throw money at thier rigs? Im a college student... Yeah I spend all of my spare money on my rig, but I dont throw it at it...It gets spent on very well though out parts...

Not everyone on here spends a ton of money on their rig. Some people build and fabricate their own. Just because they wouldn't build or fabricate an IFS in a wrangler and thought it was dumb you got all pissy and whiny????

Tell you what go buy a Dodge cummins 3500 for a daily driver then drop a 4cyl in it because you want better gas mileage.

Really aside from everyone flaming you which you should have known would happen in this section, the idea of wanting a better ride in a Jeep is understandable, but as suggested a good long arm kit will help that. You will never have a great ride, look at how short the wheelbase is to start, then solid axles, and there is a reason why it has solid axles to start. Honestly if you wanted a better riding jeep get a grand cherokee...or a Tacoma. Putting a IFS in a Wrangler is like putting an elevator in an out house....silly. It wouldnt stable enough for desert running either....
