OK, I already did a search, but i need more info, like what part#'s, and how to put ti all together. I am sick of bending on the abck of my truck,. and I want th hydro setup as soon as possible, but i do not want to spend the massive cash they charge over there. Does any one ahve an idea on how to build it and what parts to use. I know I can get them fron Harbor frieght, or from Northern tool, and i can get the ram and everything for CHEAP, jsut gotta find the right part 3's and how to set it up.

Dima, check out Jays "ROKTOY"

He has the best way I've seen yet.

Also has part numbers. The only thing I would change is to buy the power unit off of ebay and save atleast a hundo.

Also, if you go for a shorter throw ram, you can get by for less $$$$ generally by buying one used (a used ram like the loooong one Jay used is something I haven't seen yet). You would have to re-set the bender to get a 90 or more bend, but the JD2 hydro setup requires that anyway (if I recall right).

David, didn't ypu build one of these as well? I am gonna look into this some more, and then build it all one day. I mean I am feeling HUGE after building my whole flatfender, and now I have a bronco to build, a Toy, and some other rigs in line.

Haven't built it yet :p

I already have a 12 volt hydro pump, reservoir, and actuator that I *can* use, but was kinda holding out for a 110v pump. I have several smaller rams I can use, just trying to decide if I want to suck it up and buy a long ram like Jay to be able to not have to reset the bender for 90+ degree bends, or juse what I have and just deal with it.

Basically I have all the stuff (except for building a cart) to do a FREE hydro conversion, but it is not the ideal hydro assist I want to do - so I am still waiting ;)
