Coming down the home stretch on my Toy swap last night, roll the truck forward and the front driveline u-joints bind. What drivelines are you Toy guys running in the front. What about you Phatty aren't you running a cut down sammy driveline? That is what we tried first.

When we did the Toy SOA we also moved the front forward about an 1.5 inches, and with the 3" lift springs with 2" shackles we had to lengthen the front about 2". However I think you said you have a shackle reversal, did you do anything with the shackle length.

i moved my front end 6" or 7" forward which helped. i also tilted the front of my tcase downwards. then i cut off the toyota perches and rolled the pinion up. my driveshaft uses the toy flange at the tcase and a 1310 at the axle. just barely clears at the tcase. and those toy joints an got to 41*. it was a pain in my ass to get the driveshaft out of bind. good luck

Tilting down the t-case, does that negatively effect the rear? Do either of you guys have to run a big dollar high angle driveline? My bud suggested running a high pinion FJ diff, I will bet those are pricey.
I am running a stock Sami drive shaft on my Tayota axle with no problems.

the rear output is lower than front output on the tcase. i barely tilted the front down and had no problems with the rear whatsoever. i had it up to 60mph no vibes from the rear. course my shafts are both over 30" long. and my rearend is offeset. your results may vary.

I run the Tin Benders special, a 83' Toy front drive shaft in the rear and a stock sammy shaft in the front that has and extra 2".
