Is it registered in CA? It may be a hassle if not. What about it is different?

nevermind, thanks for the replies. talked to john up at hawk strictly suzuki and he told me that parts locating would be a pain in the arse. the price was right at $500 bucks but i'd hate to break at moab or on the 'con, and have to just leave it cause i don't have that unfindable widget.

That is a SJ410, not the holy grail  It isn't all that rare and finding parts isn't near as impossible as you were led to believe. For 500 bucks you should buy it!

If it runs I'd buy it right now. It's not like it's going to stay stock for long anyway. Motor/axles swap and you'll be like everyone else

The frame is a bit narrower and the axles are slightly smaller.

(im a bumper nut)
I'm an ass man myself.

the windshield folds down.

I think the tcase has better gearing.

it says SJ410s come with a 1.0 liter motor that has little in common with a Samurai motor...

So, do you know if its street licensed in Calif?
