1953 Willys M38A1 Project located in Imperial Beach, CA (San Diego)

I have $600 in it and am not willing to lose anything on the deal. If I can't sell it for what I have spent I'll scrap it instead.

Bought the jeep from a friend a year ago and have never done anything with it. Needs transmission and transfercase work. There are parts in the jeep but I am not sure what is there or what might be missing.

Surface rust but no major cancer. Floor boards and under the seat tool area have no holes.

Has a SBC 283 under the hood but the rest appears to be pretty stock.

Have photos.

The only vin markings are on the Willys Overland sticker we found under the carpet on the wheel well. It is a military jeep. Military markings are still located under the hood.

Yes, you can buy just the title, if you come pick up the Jeep!

x2...having been the" it just needs some tlc" route...i couldn't consider this more than a parts truck at this point...

i don't think i'd be willing to pay 500 bucks for a rig that hasn't been started in a year...

seals have dried up, gas tank needs to be pulled and drained(water), brake master cylinder rusts, wheel cylinders freeze, engine seizes..etc.

all nightmares i can imagine. not to mention the pile o parts in the bed, and the fact that the tranny and tcase already may have issues...

:eek: :eek: :eek: if you really need this gone, i would take whatever you could or hope someone REEEEALLY love's it...lol
