I'm about to redo my dash with some diamond plate that I am going to try to paint black. I've been thinking of getting the Mana-Aint-Free gauge thing but need pictures of other people's dashes for ideas. Also planning on redoing buttons. Should I keep them, of incorperate new switches and stuff, and how?
Thanks

Joseph A.

That last cruiser is awesome--Gary Smart does some nice work. (it wouldnt be the best hard core off roader tho--good for DD and light off-road)

assuming you looked in the readers rides section of JTO, did you see that TALL one? makes bj42's look like a 2 year old!

Isn't that off of that grey/black Land Cruiser from New York? I've wheeled with the owner (or I guess it could be PO), he's pretty fearless! Nice dash, too. I'll dig in my pictures see if I can come up with some more shots of it.

I knew I had see that one. The dash i Lined with Herculiner or Lava Liner and the diamond was put over it.

Here's another one I saved, looked kinda interesting. I apologize for the quality of the shot, it's not the best and I couldn't do better than this with Photoshop. More to follow...

That last one looks more like the cockpit on a Cessna than a cruiser gauge panel!!

71-cruiser, I am impressed you got all those guages in there! How do you match up the speedo with the LC? You have model and make #'s for the gauges. They look great!

The guages are Auto Meter part #1400. It is a street rod guage set. The set came with everything except the Tac. The plate is a glove box door that i drilled to fit the guages in. I coppied Medusa's set up so i cant take all the credit. As far as the spedo cable goes i dont have one yet but i will keep everyone posted when i get that figured out. I will include more pictures when i post my pictures from my recent 351W, NP435 swap.

BTB Products sells the cable to hook up the Autometer speedo with the stock Toyota tranny.

I wanna see more dash ideas.

I might be upgrading my gauges and I'm liking some of these options.
