: Redone Dash Pictures Needed
TxCruzr 04-04-2002, 06:52 PM I'm about to redo my dash with some diamond plate that I am going to try to paint black. I've been thinking of getting the Mana-Aint-Free gauge thing but need pictures of other people's dashes for ideas. Also planning on redoing buttons. Should I keep them, of incorperate new switches and stuff, and how?
Thanks
Joseph A.
Tracknod 04-04-2002, 07:05 PM Here is what mine is going to look like. I just need to install the gauges
Tracknod 04-04-2002, 07:08 PM here is another... different style:
Mr McGee 04-05-2002, 09:03 PM That last cruiser is awesome--Gary Smart does some nice work. (it wouldnt be the best hard core off roader tho--good for DD and light off-road)
assuming you looked in the readers rides section of JTO, did you see that TALL one? makes bj42's look like a 2 year old!
nuclearlemon 04-07-2002, 10:56 AM nah, can't show it with the bezel on upside down.
Deep South Cruisers 04-08-2002, 07:43 AM here's one :D
Actnjacksn 04-09-2002, 11:05 AM That last pic is badass. I want I want:smokin:
Polarweasel 04-09-2002, 02:01 PM FJ60, you got any more pictures of that diamond plate one you posted?

TealFj40 04-09-2002, 05:57 PM Hey the latest pic with the diamond plate is the sweetest i have ever seen, hopefully someone can give some more info on this
60seriesguy 04-09-2002, 06:10 PM Isn't that off of that grey/black Land Cruiser from New York? I've wheeled with the owner (or I guess it could be PO), he's pretty fearless! Nice dash, too. I'll dig in my pictures see if I can come up with some more shots of it.

Tracknod 04-09-2002, 08:02 PM I knew I had see that one. The dash i Lined with Herculiner or Lava Liner and the diamond was put over it.
60seriesguy 04-09-2002, 08:13 PM Here's another one I saved, looked kinda interesting. I apologize for the quality of the shot, it's not the best and I couldn't do better than this with Photoshop. More to follow...
60seriesguy 04-09-2002, 08:13 PM Another one, this time just the bezel.
FIXXXXAH 04-09-2002, 09:27 PM That last one looks more like the cockpit on a Cessna than a cruiser gauge panel!!

cardinal fang 04-12-2002, 08:46 AM 71-cruiser, I am impressed you got all those guages in there! How do you match up the speedo with the LC? You have model and make #'s for the gauges. They look great!
Live Wire 04-13-2002, 08:55 AM Here is a pic of a friends dash. It is one piece of aluminum, painted body color. Also has the BTB :flipoff: dash box.

TxCruzr 04-14-2002, 02:40 PM 71-Cruiser...Where did you get that bezel? Is it a door from the dashbox? Have part #'s for your gauges? Thats looks great, e-mail me all the info you have on how you did it and send pics if possable, or post...
Thanks
Joseph A.
71-Cruiser 04-14-2002, 09:16 PM The guages are Auto Meter part #1400. It is a street rod guage set. The set came with everything except the Tac. The plate is a glove box door that i drilled to fit the guages in. I coppied Medusa's set up so i cant take all the credit. As far as the spedo cable goes i dont have one yet but i will keep everyone posted when i get that figured out. I will include more pictures when i post my pictures from my recent 351W, NP435 swap.
Actnjacksn 04-15-2002, 05:53 AM How much did those gauges cost ya?

Box Rocket 10-27-2003, 09:55 AM I wanna see more dash ideas.
I might be upgrading my gauges and I'm liking some of these options.
