God damn window won't go up at all. I took the top off about 4 days ago to do some rollcage work and put the top back on today and now I can't get the window to go up. Yes all the plugs are plugged and I can't find any bad fuses. All wires and grounds look fine too. I did smash a grey wire going into the loom that goes back to the tailgate but I checked it and it has continuity so?

I got to get this up by tonite or the rig will be stolen/vandalized for sure. I lost my garage for the week so it needs to stay outside.

Help please.......

Having done it wrong just last week, I can tell you that the right way to do this is to pull the relay (behind the inner trim panel on the drivers side, just behind the driver's seat belt attachment. Test it using the procedure in the FSM. That test will often point you to the problem. (Mine turned out to be a flaky door lock detection switch in the rear door, but I found it using the relay test.)

Also, check out Roger's page at http://4crawler.cruiserpages.com/4x4/CheapTricks/RearWindow.shtml#RearWindowTips.

Good luck!!

Forgot to tighten a couple of the bolts that hold the top down. Went to Roger Browns site and started down the troubleshoot list and sure as shit #8 says "ensure all bolts are installed" I laughed and then said to myself I better check. Thanks Roger and thanks for the info/Link Mark. My wife was moving all her shit out of the garage into the back yard...hehehe...should I tell her to stop?

If that ever happens again, just find a wall to back up to, and have your wife spot you until you're only an inch from it. Makes it hard for people to sneak in if they can't fit...
