Search is down and I already posted this in newbie and got nothing, just looking for some straight answers or writeups, so...

I have a HP kingpin 60 out of an 86 F350 diesel that I want to put under my TJ.

I had been toying with the hp44/9" route for a while, but I figured out my long term goals and know that I want a nearly bulletproof drivetrain.

I didnt want to go fullwidth, but I said fuck it cause it'll be badass.

Since the axle is an 86 and not 78-79 the housing is 3" more offset to the drivers side which causes problems with the spring bucket and such.

I am going to be running Claytons LA stretch kit, so wheelbase will be around 100". My tire size for trails will be around 38" and possibly a 42'ish tire for mud bogs.

The rear will be a 14bff.

Not sure if you are actually asking a question here or not :)

I'm putting in that same axle at the moment. Going in my 03 TJ. See my build thread for details as it progresses.

Good luck with your build.
