What tranny in 88 YJ? [Archive]

I have a 1988 YJ Lerado 4.2 with auto and 231 t-case

3 speed

Ive looked at pan diagrams and it looks like a 904 pan but maybe a 999

I thought it was a 904 but some things ive seen makes me think it might be a 999

just wondering if anyone would know the facts.
