: 55 Spotting- "Uglibus"
I was just driving to the bank (in chico), and passed by a clean looking FJ55 with "uglibus" on the winshield. I remember seeing that in someone's sig line or something, but I don't remember who's it is. Anyone? Just trying to meet the locals...
So if you saw another pig checking out yours, don't be afraid. But it is springtime, and that means it's time for the birds, bees, and yes, even pigs, to do their thing...
Hope to see you around-
Zipp. :fj:
YoungDogs 04-04-2002, 09:37 PM Brandon,
I noticed your pig is no longer down the street. How did the brake job go?
That means we're down to what ... 5 pigs in Loomis?
nuclearlemon 04-04-2002, 09:39 PM there's a guy in denver who's pig is called "uglibus"...it's even on his license plates.
i've also seen someone call themselves "ouibus", but i think he's in the denver area also.
DCruiser138 04-04-2002, 10:35 PM loomis?...my buddy has a yellow cj5...lives off of horseshoe bar..then right at the light...over the tracks and thru the stopsign theres a pig on the right @ the top of the hill. accross the street from his turn...someone from por? i go there all the time in the cruiser to work on it...hmmm:rasta:
Jake/YoungDogs- yeah, I finally got it up and running. The brakes went so-so- I took apart and honed/rebuilt all 8 wheel cylinders, and the brakes worked well enough to drive it. And just last weekend, I found an 80 toy pu front disc axle for $80- so I am pulling that apart, and am going to go discs... And do something with the master, but what, I haven't figured out yet... (single resevoir + no booster = hold on for dear life...)
Oh, yeah Jake- I met a guy off of Humphrey with the blue and white spring over 55 on 35's, Paul- seemed like a very cool guy. He said you had talked before- One of the other 5 now... ha-
Dcruiser- My pig was off of king on Margaret- The pig was out in front of my friend's house- it's painted kind of a tan/beige/primer gray/white.... It's definitely a project in the works- but coming along.
As far as Uglibus, or oibus is concerned- I'll figure it out eventually... I'm sure I'll see it some time again. Thanks for the help-
Brandon Zipp.
ouibus 04-06-2002, 10:51 AM Are you guys making fun of my screen name? Just kidding.
Actually, I live in Ft. Collins. About 55 miles north of Denver. No relation to "Uglibus" I haven't really heard that name before. But, maybe I will run into the guy that does sport that name and we can talk.:p
nuclearlemon 04-07-2002, 10:20 AM ouibus,
his name's mike aaron. he's a rising sun member, lives in longmont iirc. nice guy.
ouibus 04-08-2002, 10:39 PM FJSRULE,
Thanks for the heads up. If I ever end up seeing Mike Aaron, I will introduce myself. Hopefully, I will get to meet him while I am driving my rig.

Hey 96cruiser- That's where I remembered seeing a pig named Uglibus... Over on theironpig.com... I had forgotten. But that's not the pig I saw up here in Chico- If I see it again, I'll take a pic and post it- it was a really sweet looking pig.
Speaking of pigs, I might as well post the latest pic of mine- Pig in progress...
