Any people with good or bad experiences with the Eaton care to share? I just purchased one and I am getting dogged for it from some of my friends who think ARB is the "only" selectable locker...

why is ARB better than Eaton?

So you bought it knowing nothing about it? Then got anxious when your friends told you it wasn't as good as ARB? Sounds pretty dumb to just buy something then ask about it. Why don't you do a little searching for testimonials? I heard of this cool website, its called www.google.com

Try it out!

I have a 8.8 rear with an eaton. No problems so far.
ARBs are great lockers but that doesn't mean that they are the only way to go.

I've got two of them and I like 'em. Did have an issue with one, and Eaton's service was top-notch.

Basically, the magnetic material on one of them wouldn't "let go" right away, after it was de-energized. That was last year. Eaton sent me a new one, even before I had to pull the "slow" one out!
