I am getting ready to start my hunt and build up of a wristed arm setup on Dana 60's in my 68 bronco. While searching on the web I came across this site:

This looks like a pretty killer setup, but I am not sure what that "Hydro Ram" actually is or where to get some info on purchasing one. Is it like a shock, or a hydraulic ram? Does anyone have any info or links to this that can help me in my searches. I would appreciate any help. Thank guys.

That's Lee's setup. Go to http://www.lonestar-ebc.com and go to the members section. He is also part of the BroncoFix mail list (mail@broncofix.com). He's a really cool guy and he'll help you out.

That's my website, and I spoke to Rockpilot. IronBenderII is right, That's Lee Novikoff's setup. I've been emailing him a few times talking about his setup. He's basically got a modified 3 link suspension. the stock radius arms have been replaced with tube and Heims with a johnny joint at the frame. That Hydraulic cylinder is installed in the twister arm, which allows him to lock and unlock the arm remotely. It's really just a convenience item, rather than a necessity. the same thing can be done with a solid rod that is removable when wheeling. The specifics that I can tell you about the cylinder is that it's a custom cylinder and unlike most it has no resistance when unlocked. It's rated at 3000psi, and has a remote resevoir.
