got every one's rigs together and loaded up last night pulling out in an\bout 1.5 hours

Ya found out what was wrong with bajg rig. why the left front tire would turn, got it all back together and still the left front tire wouldn't turn.

here the kid that changed his old axles with the warn's and ctm's found it unnecassary to ckeck the size of the new shafts. yup the inner short side shaft was 2 inches to short, went into the splines of the detroit about 1/8 of an inch, so when you put them in it felt like it was in, but when power is put to it it pops out of the carrier thus no turny on the front wheel.

ya his detroit was fine never broken!

Rob was the one who wanted this work to be done by him, I know who did the work and he has just put a hp 60 in the front of a chevy full size (made all the brackets) along with building a CJ 5 (only thing good was the tub)from scratch in a matter of a couple of months.

I would not blame the installer, he did what he was told. Rob couldn't install the shafts so he had the work done for him. I would have assumed the shafts were the right one to begin with, as well.

This is why you should do the work yourself, it is easier to detect a problem on your own vehicle when you are working on it yourself.

i juat saw this post.... i sure didnt and wont blame him..... he is a ver skilled mechanic......... the only reason i didnt throw them in which i have done a million times is because i had a serious back injury to the point i was off work for almost three weeks, the rig was allready at his garage for the paint work, so it just worked out that way... if i blame anyone i blame the company.... they have sent me 5 others the correct size, why would this one be different
