Hey guys,

The master cylinder on the CrewCab has a pretty good leak, so I'm putting in a whole new one.

I've never done this particular procedure before, so any tips on draining and not making a mess of it, and anything else you think a new-bie like myself might need for this would be tree-men-dus.

Oh yeah, thanks in advance. :flipoff2:

Good idea to have flare nut / tubing wrenches on hand, and do yourself a favor and bench bleed the master before installation

Do you have a power bleeder / Motive bleeder on hand?

Makes things go far faster if your not excited about the press-bleed-tighten-press....ad infinitum. Having said that, I imagine Connor could use a new hobby - nice Dad-n-Son pic btw :)

I'll look for a bleeder.

OMG, this is one of those jobs where if your arms were long enough, you could do it solo.

Open the bleeder on the slave and hook up a hose to collection container, pump until no more comes out. Install the new one, fill master, open slave, pump, repeat until done. You don't need a power bleeder for this, just patience.
