I have a Miller 175 and my brother has a Miller 210. We want to weld aluminum.
I had always thought if I ever needed to weld aluminum, I would get the spool gun that Premier Power Welder (http://www.premierpowerwelder.com/readyweld/readyweld.html) sells, then I could use it with my garage welder for aluminum, or on the trail for steel. (with an underhood unit) Am I thinking correct?

Has anybody used this spool gun? I asked my local welding shop about it and they said "oh that's a piece of junk"
We could just buy a regular Miller spool gun, but I'd like to get an underhood welder anyways, so why not be able to wire feed weld on the trail, and still be able to throw it on my garage welder to do aluminum.
Is this thing worth it?
