So I am nervous now when people want to drive the scout, RL and FH = :nuke: tcase. I was thinking about the 4 wheel "switch" that covers the access hole to the detents, could you use two of those inline and the neutral safety switch to kill the motor when you hit FH and RL?? You would have to gring the right notches in the shift rails, and it might be more work than it's worth, but I thought I would throw it out there? Not real sure how the neutral safety works??

I let my dumbarse friends drive my rigs all the time and this is actually a good idea:idea:.. right off the top of my head I couldn’t answer the “how to do it” part,…… but its definitely possible and probably worth the time it takes to do it… yeah.. I like that idea:D

Leave the front hubs un-locked. When your off-road, instruct them not to touch the shifters, and it's not easy to get the rear out of 2lo without backing up.

Easy solution - DO NOT TOUCH.
Scream it, or sticker it.. :D
My friends shouldn't be running my rig hard enough that they need to work the transfer case. It'll either already be in 4-low, or they won't need it - and if they think they need FWD or something, it's time for me to drive if I'm not sure they know how to work the darn t'case!
