Psyched 'cause I just mailed off my rebate form to Milwaukee. I think this has been discussed here before, but if you're looking at V28 stuff, now is the time. The promo ends 3/31/06.
If you order a cordless kit (ie, one tool, case, charger, two batts), you can then send in a rebate to get a free circ saw, recip saw, impact or drill (just the tool but still worth $150 to $250 retail).
I wanted to order the impact a-la-carte 'cause I already have the batts and charger, but when I discovered the promo I of course did what any sane person would do: spend more $ to save $. I ordered the recip saw kit and am sending in the rebate form for the impact. It was cheaper than ordering the impact kit and getting something else on the rebate, so shop carefully for maximum savings.
I got my kit from toolup.com w free shipping and most online retailers have links to the rebate form.
