I am in the process of streaching the frame and moving my front axle forward 10" I will have to cut my fenders and grill and relocate my headlights. Has anyone done this, or done a tube front clip and found an easy way to maintain some sort of wheel wells?

you can maintain full fenders if you dovetail it. I moved my axle 4" forward and im having to remove the headlights and build a front tube clip to protect the radiator........and to make it look pimp!!!

dovetailing would look cool and be cool but this one is just a cheep budget build i dont want to spend weeks making it pretty. Just looking for an easy way to keep the mud out of the engine compartment. I dont do mud often but all the local wheeling places get very muddy.

dont know how this would work on a strectherd sami, but its a means of opening the wheelwells a bit more and still looking street legal.

Here is what i did to mine. I am sure you could do something simular.
Although, mine is now a few inches forward than what is in the pictures.
