air cat, Ingersoll rand, craftsman or Chicago pneumatic?

i would like to keep it under 130 bucks. wondering if anyone had problems with the 45 doller craftsman unit or any of the other cheaper ratchets.


if anyone replys thanks, if not im going to buy the ingersoll rand pf775 for 40 bucks on sears.com- i hate dealing with them sometimes tho.

My attitude on air tools is, get Ingersoll Rand or go home.

If I were you, I'd somehow verify that the sears one is in fact a rebranded IR, otherwise I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot poll.

I know this: The newer composite IR 1/4" ratchets are SAWEET, and the older aluminum ones (I have a MAC branded one from about '92) run a close second. Get one ;)

the foot lbs are the same but the speeds are not so it sounds like it isnt the same ratchet

i really hate dealing with calling sears. last time i bought sockets they took twice as long to get to my shop. guess ill order today
