Man It Ain't Free has a new website up that you can actually get pricing and information from. There are actually some interesting items there and some good ideas for the home fabricator. Anyone ever use those "Mean Green" seats? Those would be special in my FJ60.:D www.man-a-fre.com Also check out the "Free" catalog that has a $5 handling fee.:D

These are the seats to which I was refering. I believe James and the boys at what was once known as Land Cruiser Connection used to sell something similar.

Its about time they started working on their website. They have lost alot of my business for that one reason.

If it means anything.... Their new website has been up and running for about 5 months.:flipoff2:  :flipoff2:

Also, Order the catalog with the 4th class mail. I have ordered 2 and both arrived in Florida in less than 2 weeks and they were free.....:smokin:

Sloan.... Just so ya know, I wasn't trying to be an ass;) , I think the only reason I found out was that I went there to look at the picture they had of that red 40 for some reason. I was suprised to.

I've driven an FJ60 with the MEAN GREEN seats. Cushy, but not very supportive. They have that "custom conversion van captain's chair" feel to them, comfortable to sit on for a short period, but I can't imagine driving long periods on them. Wheeling would be even worse, they don't have much lateral support.

For what they cost, you're better off with some nice seats. A few weeks ago I checked out a local FJ60 with leather seats out of a 2000 2-door Honda Accord, talk about nice!!

I'm giving you shieat as well Traknod:D I too stumbled on the site again quite by accident and was SURPISED to say the least at the amount of ifo contained there. Their old site SUCKED! Thanks 60SG you just saved me some cash.:D 2000 Leather Honda seats huh... Do I have to put the 4" exhaust tip on if I use those seats?

Ya, but has MAF's business practice gotten any better?

I am a strange critter: I like to order parts via web or phone, give a VISA number, and expect parts to show up on my doorstep in a reasonable amount of time. :D

Ordered a few parts from SOR last month via the web. No confirmation, NADA... like if got sucked into black space. Dang, my VISA was max'd out (opps!). Would have been nice to have gotten an email back with "can not process your order due to... "

Still went back to SOR and thought it was time to also have a few extra spares and couldn't pass up that 50th anniversary book. Confirmation & shipping info shows up later that day &
the following morning. I still hate the $5 handling fee "PER BOX"... but saves me the time running around for some stuff.

Strange how my $50 order with SOR suddenly bloomed into a $300 order (trail spares, ya know), so I opted for the "club membership".

new site still sucks though. i want pricing on take off/new parts...not their ripoff aftermarket stuff...i can get pricing for that in the catalog. i need to order a lot of oem replacement stuff for my 45 and i'm not going to call everytime i need to get a price...i'll just check my local toy dealer and if they can't get it, call $pecter.

Fawkin' MAF, I tried to order off their site because it was an additional 5% off it you did. They had a question about my order so they called me, got it straightened out, but since they called me they added the 5% back on. They are definitely from the 'no vaseline' school of customer service.
