I have a 91 S10 blazer 4x4. I want to solid axle my rig, what axle and springs should I go with? I want to stick with the 700r4 also. Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Dave

It depends a lot on how hard you plan on wheeling it. Most will say (and I agree) it's really not worth it to go any less than a D44. Either 44 or 60 I would recomend high pinion to keep the driveshaft angles down. Unfortunately unless you want to go full width or narrow them there are no narrow HP axles. Custom stuff of course. Waggy axles front and rear would be a good way to get 2 44s about the right width but low pinion. If you plan on more than 35's go straight to a D60. As for the springs a lot of people use waggy or wrangler springs. Go search at http://www.s10extremist.org/index2.htm.

If you're wanting some waggy axles, I've got one that I'm selling for $550 entire vehicle. Just thought I'd pimp my shit, haha.
