Need some help identifying body piece. It runs vertical inside and in front of the door opening. Spot welds attach it to the side panel and floor. As you can see from pic it is rusted all the way through. Also where to find this piece would be helpful. Thanks

It is the bottom of the cowl support, runs from one floor board to the other and supports the windshield.

Any piece of metal in the same shape will be fine, heavy ga. sheet metal bent to the same shape is fine, it you can cut the parts from a wrecked wrangler tub. I went the latter with my CJ body, everything turned out fine.

I have never seen that piece for sale aftermarket...
