Can a Electrican's hyd emt pipe bender be used for dom ect? It has hd aluminum dies up to 2".

Nope - Pipe is measured by ID tube by OD...

The OD of EMT has no relation to the OD of pipe.
The OD of EMT is close enough to that of tube in a couple of sizes that it likely would work. Keep in mind that the sizes listed below have a CLR of between 8" & 9" if you are talking about something like a Greenlee 855E.
1-1/4" EMT has a OD of 1.510"
1-1/2" EMT has a OD of 1.740"

I have had a few customers using them. Work OK if you have a couple of jobs. They used it as a "starter" because it was there.
Have also heard that on some the radius is very large.
I will see if I can get a couple of them to jump in with their opinions.

Thanks, Its for personal use only so it will get very infrequent use. I can get it for $400.00 with 3 dies the largest is 2"

Most of the electrical dies have much larger radius, the 2" die has a od of almost 2.250,1.50 die is close to 1.750 but has a large radius. You can get some dies for it for tubing.
The Mittler bender is really close to a greenly.
