Hi there,
Does anyone knows where the crankshaft sensor is located?
I changed the water pump, thermostat, belt(serp.) and finished the job and went to start the '95 classic rover and it would not start. It sounds like it wants to turn over......any ideas:confused:
Thanks

Didn't know that a '95 classic had a crankshaft position sensor. Should have a distributor.
Do you have a spark? Check the coil wiring. Somtimes one of the little wires get pulled off when messing around changing belts etc.(should be 4 of them, 2 white and 2 white w/black tracer, can only go in one place due to the terminal type).

The '95 Classic does not have a CkP. The '95 4.0/4.6 does.
The work that was done is not undertaken in ana ra that would lend itself to easily causing a no-start condition.
"it sounds like it wnats to turn over"??? is it cranking?
Could be your amplifier module. But then again it could be a lot of things.
