I'm planning on pulling my webber off tomorrow and doing all the things I can think of to make it run offroad and on. I plan on spinning it around so if it floods or bogs out it's doing it downhill and I plan on porting the manafold to the same size as the carburator. Anything else carburator floats? Pressure regulator? If I install a pressure regulator than will I have to put on an electric fuel pump on?
Thanks for all your input

I turned mine around, and got a pressure reg, at napa. Set it to 1.5. Works much better. I read about reventing the carb on offroad but have not tried it. Also read about a plastic float for it, but can't remember who has it.

Is a Weber carb worth all the trouble???? Is the power gained worth the effort?? Stock carb works fine for me.

run your stock carb until it takes a dump on you then go get a weber carb and re-work it for trail use. i wouldn't mess with all the complicated rebuild crapola of a stock carb. when mine dies, i am getting a weber!!
