: Help finding install instructions...

Hey guys,

I've got a Disco II dog-guard here with no install instructions. I was hoping maybe someone out there has installed one and possibly had the instructions or could give me some insight.

I know I know, install instructions for a dog guard WTF right? There's like 8,000 pieces to this kit and I can't seem to make it all work right. Possibly there's something missing who knows. I confirmed the P/N with the local dealer but they didn't have any to copy.

Thanks!

, Jason

No nothing on dWeb. And no I'm not shitting you. This isn't in my car and I don't want to start drilling holes and mounting shit if I don't know exactly where it goes.

Not too mention that this guard isn't like a RRC guard with two bolts that mount to the seat release box. It's fawking rediculous if you ask me but my buddy want's it installed, all 8,000 pieces that make it up. :ugh:

Sorry, I meant this question needs to be asked on DWeb or maybe ExpiditionExchange.

Why are you installing dog guards into a D2? Aren't you supposed to be off drowning your truck in 5 feet of mud and water in Oz?

EDIT: Oh, it's not for another seven weeks or so. But still.... :flipoff2:

LOL! I had to slap an apprentice yesterday for installing a dog guard in a Range Rover Sport backwards! The damned thing looked like some sort of bondage device with clamps and shit!

I vote for shipping Shopboy to him and having Shopboy put it in with duct tape! :flipoff2:

Ahh fawk. I guess I asked for it. :flipoff2: WTF is wrong with me?

Seriously though, the OBC was just a big scam for me to infiltrate the P4x4 world. World domination and the answer to the question of "Does PT really know everything?" were my main reasons but there many others! Like this simple question of how to install a dog guard. :D

I picked up with no install instructions and a buddy bought it from me. He's having a hard time installing it in his DII and I've tried helping with no luck. It's weird, I'm wondering if the actual guard is right but all the hardware is wrong. There are more parts and pieces in this fawking kit than what came in Hilaries x-mas present from the local "Just 4 Lovers" store! It's fawking pissing me off.

As for welding, jb welding or even pt welding it's simply not good enough for this guy. I understand, it's a nice non-wheeling DII. It's a tow rig for his SII and he want's it to be nice.

Oh well, I guess it's time to try and work my way into Outerlimits as "PinkBuffaloProducts" :flipoff2: and see what I find.

PS - As for the one post wonder, that isn't the same kit/style. I already looked at that file you posers.

PPS - Just finished the photoshoot with LRL Magazine [Sorry Michael] :smokin: It's gonna be fawking sweet. Big-ass leaves for Savannah Friday and the ship sets sail on Saturday. Maybe now I can get back to business.

Perfect publication for you. Im sure they will slot you right between an article on jewelry and an add for jeans with sequins on the butt.

He LF, I have those jeans fawker! Just ask the pretty Misses in the photo to the left. She loves em on me..or is it that she loves them off? Damnit I can never remember? :flipoff2:

Hmmm...maybe I've got it all figured out. Big-narly Land Rover, International sponsorship from DHL, cover of LRL Magazine w/ follow-up coverage in OZ, great friends & family, and a great woman. Tight rhine-stone jeans all the way boys! :flipoff2:

Seriously though, I'm a playboy, I'm flashy, it's just me guys. I can't change it. I would have thought you've figured this out by now. I might be a wanna be rock star Rover owner who seems full of himself but don't be fooled. I'll be the first person to give the shirt off my back or a discount to a broke ass college kid on a used caliper so he can still go out and get wasted on Saturday night! :grinpimp:

In other words...

I'd like to see a full-scale pic of Mrs. RedRhinoProducts with you in it, so we know that pic's not a 100-pound imalgimation of your fantasies and a Pirate T-Shirt. :flipoff2:

Fair enough bro. Here's what happens when you drink a lot and your roomate/bestfriend of the time is an aspiring photographer and you setup a faux studio in your garage with tarps and use rover parts, shot guns and chain saws as props.

Her and I are just weird I guess. :grinpimp:
