outer edge of the small gear should point to front

Come on dude, they ain't that tough:laughing: you'll use the piss out of a 17mm socket though! I'm not scared to swap one out on the trail even. piece of cake.

Zag, Would you be kind enough to measure the diameter and width of both upper and lower portal gears ? I am trying to determin how close in strength my home made portal assemblies are to a 404. thanks
