I have rearched stock springs and a leaf or two added with my current setup and I HATE the ride. If I put the TT YJ kit on, will I lose height? Can I use lifted YJ springs? I want to stay with my current height but a nicer ride. I am running 35 inch boggers and currently have 9.5 inches from top of the tire to the bottom of the fender flair in the rear and 10 inches in the front. Thank you for the responses.

You may lose a little height since your springs probably give you a little lift right now, but you will love the YJ's. The ride will be worlds better with the YJ springs. Yes, you can run lifted springs. There's a couple guys on here that run 2.5" lift springs. I have the TT conv. on mine with stock YJ's and love it. I highly recommend it. ~Steve

Thanks for the input. Do you know the best /cheapest place for lifted YJ's?

Check your local 4x4 shop, if all else fails, sometime they are offered on E-bay..:D

I got my Pro Comp 2.5" lifted YJs for $48 each from Leon Rosser Jeep. I bought two Pro Comp leaf packs and swapped the leaves around with two stock 4 leaf packs and got about 1.5" lift. I too, have the TT kit and love it.

get to know a couple of jeep guys and get some of there old stuff, you know they are always changing stuff trying to get it to work .I embarrased a few the other night ,they marveled at the flex and asked me where did I get those springs. When I told them they were stock yj's they did not believe me

Try running the 2.5" yj springs from rancho.....or even the extreme duties from Rubicon Express......that will bump you up enough to clear 33x14 boggers!!! I ran that for a while!
But you dont need to pay for the kit....it is a pretty easy swap!
