4x4420 03-22-2006, 10:02 AM I was driving home and it sounded like I picked up a rock( driving about 55) . I did't notice any real diff. until I came to a stop and my truck makes a roaring noise like i am stuck in 4x4 or the fan clutch is stuck but it only happens in 1st gear. any help or sugg. would be greatly appreciated jeep450 03-22-2006, 02:02 PM Sounds like the planetary set in the transmission is come apart. numtel 03-22-2006, 02:11 PM I think I may have the same problem, the transmission whines a little when I rev it in park or while driving in first with a th350. Planetary does not turn in park. Mabey something like the pump. Any good trans shop should drive it and give you some kind of idea. Of course there is no way to know for sure w/o tearing it apart. | |
