I keep getting mixed reviews on the sites ive read so i figured id ask the mighty gooroos here..

I have a suburban with 44's dana 60 front 14bff rear over spring steering and in process of putting on hydro assist and heres what i keep running into..

Im told the 2'' ram is too big and will be too slow in responsive steering, Im also told its fine and has the power to move the 44's sitting still.

Im also told the 1.5'' ram is fine and will be more responsive but for some reason it cost more,
Im also told this ram is too small and wont move those tires and will overheat..

SOOOO all might gods which is it..It will be a street/offroad driven machine and i want it to serve its purpose but also not jepordize anyone or my safety

Jay told me his 2" ram was pretty slow with it being powered by the stock pump on his K5, but it was a trail only rig so he didn't care.

I picked up a PSC 1.75" bore .75" rod ram recently and will be putting it in when the time allows for a box rebuild/drilling/tapping session. It seemed like a decent compromise between the two(1.5" and 2").

I have found that my 1.5x8 rocklogic ram is fine 99% of the time on the street. It's amazing what it can do with the 42's now. The only time it is too slow is when i'm trying to correct a slide. Maybe I shouldn't be sliding it on the street......
