I've got a chevy 350 topped off with a holley fuel injection that is having a strange problem. It seems that when the ingine is cold (under 150) it sounds like its missing half the cylinders and has NO power. Then when she warms up and gets to about 155 it runs like a raped ape. I've heard that the holley fuel injection is a bad cold starter, true?? any other ideas?? Note - even after driving around for a while with no problems and then stopping for ten minutes I'll have to let her run (rev/idle) for maybe five ten minutes. It's really annoying and confusing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it a TBI motor with the 670cfm holley throttle body, or is is a standard 350 with a Holley complete fuel injection conversion?

Don't know if the programming is similar to the edelbrock efi, but on my edelbrock there are setting that effect the cold start fueling that turn off once the engine warms up. I assume that this setting is too high on yours and causing your performance problem.

It's a stocker 350 motor with the Holley pro jection 670 kit. It runs extremely rich until it warms up and the idle drops well below a grand. It's a very anoying prob.

its the nature of the system when the high idle and choke system is on it will run like shit I always started mine and left it run till it cam down off high idle before i took off. if you don't like having to wait turn the choke adj. all the way down and turn in the shaft on the high idle silonoid.
