Hey all..
I posted a little while ago about some trouble doing a SOR weber conversion. THe fuel pedal assembly does not fit (the flange that bolts to the firewall is quite a bit too small vs. the original... in fact, the flange that comes with the kit is so small, it actually fits THROUGH the hole in the firewall the original sat in).
In addition, getting the cable to run from the pedal assembly to the linkage on the front of the carb (facing the front of the vehicle) introduces a90 degree bend in the cable, which may present a problem of wear over a very short period of time.
Two questions:
Anyone with pics of how they ran the cabling from the pedal assembly to the carb.
How do you get the pedal assembly to fit to the firewall?
see here:

in the photo for the 1975 conversion kit, below the pedal you ccan see how small the mounting flange is vs. stock:

hmm. not really easy to see, but does demonstrate it (poorly...)
