are all rover swivel balls the same? what knuckles will fit on the disco swivel, namely a knuckle that has a steering arm in the front. having this set up will save a multitude of problems.

Aaron, Aaron, Aaron...:shaking: :shaking:

It's been discussed before, the only way you can go to high-steer (or at least both steering arms on the front of the axle) is if you have at least a five-inch lift due to panhard rod interference.

A coupla years ago, I made a similar request and John of Rovertym fame responded with the part number nadhte caveats of why it wasn't a good idea. Somewhere, there is a part number for the left-hand swivel with the steering arm in front.

Peace,
PT

all knuckles sold new in the states now have both front and rear joint ears.
any dealer or aftermarket parts place has them. RDS has them

the panhard can be dealt with.:flipoff2: as for you and your rollie eyes......
i know it has been done before, and i do sort of remember the answer you gave me on the phone a long time ago. but i was looking for more of an "outside the box" solution.
mark, thank you, that was what i am looking for.
now if i could find one for cheaper used......:cool2:
in the new issue of fourwheeler there is a guy with a very nicely built disco and he has a nice crossover built.

I can't do that any more, not with the new job:flipoff2:

The factory says we can't do that, it has to be returned to stock, give me your wallet, title to the car and deed to your house, I'll call you when it's done!

No I believe that Series balls are larger.

For a stock Disco ball, contact any of the wreckers in the UK. You just need a left hand knuckle from a RHD vehicle.

ps. this has been discussed sooo many times here. Hell look at 64rvr question about steering, its still on the front page.
